What will be that admission process from 2013 for IITs?

Board Percentage of Class XII will be given a minimum of 40% weightage while preparing final merit list. Difference in various State Boards and Central Board results will be normalized using scientific statistical normalization on the basis of percentiles formula prepared in consultation with the Indian Statistical Institute which compares the average performance of students appearing in the respective board examination. ISEET will replace IITJEE and will come into place from academic session 2012-13 and a score card will be given to the student appearing in the exam. ISEET MAIN and ADVANCE will be compulsory with MAIN having 30% to 60% weightage and ADVANCE exam having 0% to 30% weightage. Merit list for the admissions will be prepared by the admission committee for IITs. All other institutes who took admissions based on JEE will also follow the same pattern.
