Is this change beneficial for students in general?

Yes, it is definitely beneficial for students as earlier they had to prepare for many engineering entrance tests, as ISEET implementation will reduce mental and financial burden on the student/parent and save time as well. Students will be relieved from anxiety and trauma caused due to different test syllabus and can concentrate on the single test thus improving the chances of getting admission to a good college. As ISEET will be conducted twice or more during a year and the scores will be valid for two years, students will have multiple chances to improve their scores.
